Key West is often referred to as the ultimate “come as you are” destination. Coined the 'Conch Republic,' this versatile escape can cater to everyone, from laidback island enthusiasts to foodies and adventure seekers. Step foot on the island, and before long you’ll be sipping slushy cocktails on Duval Street and toasting to the sunsets that inspire lyrics set to steel drums. Closer to Cuba than Miami, the destination is also rich in culture, as well as world-class diving and fishing in crystal-clear water.

Hit the road and relax. Breathe in the ocean air as you drive across 42 bridges with your companion and shift into island time, before you even step out of the car.

Welcome to Southernmost Beach Resort & Guesthouses in Key West, FL! We're delighted to have you. Please settle in and make yourself at home - a fabulous few days await.
Please note - check in time is 4 pm, but the hotel team will do their best to accommodate you early. If you arrive to the property before your room is ready, please feel free to store your bags with the front desk and hang by the pool/beach or go out and explore!

Join Guest Experience Director Amy Andrade for an insider’s look at the island, from beloved landmarks to lesser-known gems, and experience one of the most authentic and delicious sides of Key West.

Take some time to explore the beautiful property. We'll have poolside and beachside cabanas reserved for you, as well as bike rentals available so that you can make the most of your afternoon.

Depart for a Sunset Sail with Fury's Commotion of the Ocean
Embark on a Key West sunset cruise aboard a 65-ft catamaran. Grab a drink and appetizers while you relax on deck as the first hints of the Key West sunset appear.

Note: There will be an assortment of bites aboard the Commotion of the Ocean, but we’ll stop for a bite on the way back to the hotel if hunger strikes.

When the sun goes down, meet outside the Southernmost Beach Café with David Sloan who will lead us through Key West’s UFO lore during a guided stargazing experience. We will break out the telescopes and lasers, look to the skies, and consider the question: Are UFOs really out there?
